A beautiful town, planned in classical style early in the 19th century, Tullamore is a great centre for boating and fishing and enjoying golf and all sorts of country pursuits such as walking, riding, golf and looking at old and distinguished buildings and parkland. The 19th century town is mostly contained between the canal to the north and the railway to the south.
