Carrigallen is set between the north and south shores of Town Lake and is an excellent angling centre. Also in the area walking, cycling and pony trekking can be enjoyed. Carrigallen also plays host a Festival every year where one can enjoy a feast of entertainment including theatre, music, dance with sporting events also featuring.
