Westport is a superb base for holidays in the West of Ireland. Soaring to a height of 2510ft, Croagh Patrick (Irelands holy mountain) is situated five miles from the town of Westport. Views of Clew Bay and the surrounding south Mayo countryside are spectacular from the peak.
